Just this month, Rabbi Shira, who leads our monthly 6th in the City Shabbat, teams up with Aaron Shneyer and Michal Bilick to offer soulful acoustic music, deep spirituality, and thoughtful service to DC. After services, fill our sanctuary with the spirited sound of new tunes and old favorites.

This week, the sermon will be given by DACA recipient Luis Aguilar. Join the conversation about the Dreamers and what our responsibility is to those who are vulnerable to deportation.

The dinner provided will be Kosher. Sixth & I is able to accommodate food needs specific to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. Please contact Abby at least five days before the event if you have any of these dietary requirements. The menu includes:

Tilapia and pomegranate ceviche with sumac, red onion (GF)

Dinner:
Meatballs in Swiss chard and lemon (GF)
Vegan options: chickpea and Swiss chard stew
Wheat berry, leek and date salad
