CANCELED – Group Chat: Jews and Booze
- This event has passed.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this program has been canceled. All ticket buyers have been contacted and refunded.
In a city where happy hour is a part of work culture and weekend plans are built around bottomless brunch, the idea of abstaining from alcohol can feel hard to swallow. During Dry January, Rabbi Aaron leads a spirited discussion over mocktails on the ways alcohol is used and abused in daily life and how it’s intertwined with our social lives, offering some Jewish wisdom to help you say cheers to a healthier relationship with drinking.
This chat is best for those looking to live more intentionally in the year ahead, or who have wrestled with substance abuse.
No one will be turned away from any of our programs due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Associate, Molly.
