Hebrew Literacy: Aleph, Bet, and Beyond
- This event has passed.
10-part series on Thursdays, June 20 – August 29
Want to be able to follow along in your prayer book during Shabbat services? Or read street signs in Israel? Demystify the Hebrew alphabet as you learn the letters and vowels and how to combine them to “crack the code.” Through participatory activities and exercises, this course introduces reading Hebrew in an enjoyable, supportive atmosphere. Intended for those with little to no prior Hebrew reading ability.
For the benefit of all participants, attendance is expected at all nine ninety-minute classes. An hour per week of home practice is highly recommended.
Please contact Beth with any questions.
