- This event has passed.
This class meets on Wednesdays, October 10 – December 19 (no class November 21) from 5:15 – 6:45 pm.
Bring new meaning to your prayers as you begin to understand the words you are reading. This course introduces common vocabulary, roots, and key grammatical structures to translate the Hebrew found in prayers and readings in synagogue, home observances, and Jewish cultural life. For those with basic Hebrew reading skills.
Students should plan to spend 20 minutes daily on home practice. They will be responsible for purchase of the class textbook Aleph Isn’t Enough, which costs about $20.
