- This event has passed.
This section is now SOLD OUT. There is still space in Section II, which meets on Wednesdays.
This class meets from 7:15 pm – 9:00 pm on Mondays, June 25 – August 27.
Demystify the Hebrew alphabet as you learn how to read Hebrew words that appear in prayers and in daily Jewish life. Intended for those with little to no prior Hebrew reading ability, this course introduces literacy through focused study and participatory activities, games, and songs.
Students should plan to attend class regularly and spend 15-20 minutes daily on homework and practice. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own textbooks, which cost approximately $23. Details forthcoming.
