How to Be Kind
- This event has passed.
Please RSVP here. Attendees will be emailed a Zoom link one hour before the class begins. With any questions, contact Kira.
Most of us aspire to help others, serve our community, and be a reliable friend, but sometimes being kind is easier said than done. How can we turn the desire to be kind into reality, especially in a COVID-19 world? What happens when kindness to others interferes with kindness to ourselves? Rabbi Shira leads this wide-ranging conversation on what Judaism says about how, when, and why to be kind.
In order to make this as meaningful an experience as possible for all involved, video participation in this virtual class is strongly encouraged.
Stay up to date on virtual classes and Shabbat services by signing up for our Sixth & Spiritual newsletter.
Sixth & I is committed to creating community and providing a forum for learning while our building is closed, but we need your help to sustain those who make this programming possible. If you can, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution of any amount to help support our staff, security, and contract workers during this difficult time.
