Jewish Flavor: Shavuot Feast

The week before Shavuot, Chef Vered Guttman puts a Sephardic twist on the Ashkenazi tradition of eating dairy dishes on the holiday. Dishes include:

  • Sephardi pastelikos (type of borek) with eggplant and feta
  • Green pea, kale, and ricotta pashtida (kugel)
  • Iraqi crepes (kahi) with butter and cream
  • Israeli-style cheesecake
