Labor on the Bimah
- This event has passed.
6:00 pm – Happy Hour
7:00 pm – Service
Before Labor Day, Rabbi Nora and musician Aaron Shneyer lead a Shabbat service that weaves together labor issues, social justice, and Judaism.
Hear from Sixth & I’er Natalie Thomas about her work with United Staff Union and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees and Jules Tartaro and Joz Brooks from the recently unionized La Colombe. Plus, enjoy treats and drinks from ANXO Cidery and La Collina, two local businesses leading the way in honoring the dignity of their employees with fair wages.
This event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.
