Mean Girls All Grown Up

Getting Beyond the Drama and Finding Empowering Friendships with Women

As girls grow up, their adult interactions with other women can sometimes be fraught with the same conflicts they experienced in their teens. Do the women in your office neglect to invite you when they all go out for lunch? Are you worried this exclusion negatively impacts your career? Has being a bridesmaid caused friction with the bride or other bridesmaids? Do you still feel the need for a best friend in your late twenties as strongly as you felt the need when you were 12? Have you questioned whether going to your high school reunion is worth seeing the “mean girls” from back in the day?

Rosalind Wiseman, the internationally recognized expert on children, teens, parenting, bullying, and ethical leadership and the author of Queen Bees and Wannabes (the basis for the movie Mean Girls), will lead an interactive conversation about the challenges and rewards of woman-to-woman interactions and friendships in the post-teen years. She’ll share best practices for dealing with difficult situations and finding authentic sisterhood among your peers.
For women in their 20s and 30s. And for the record, we love all bubbes everywhere.
