Modern Israeli Cooking: Rosh Hashanah Edition

Start the new year off right with the third of our three-part Jewish cooking series, designed to help you have a sweet start to 5779. Led by our own chef and food writer Vered Guttman, the class includes a demonstration plus a buffet dinner. The menu includes:

  • Quince candy
  • Leek latkes
  • Tilapia and pomegranate ceviche
  • Black-eyed pea and butternut squash salad
  • Stuffed Swiss chard with beef and bulgar
  • Date and honey cake

The dinner provided will be kosher; kosher supervision is provided by the Baltimore-Washington Kashrut Council. This event is supported by a grant from The Jewish Food Experience, a program of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington
