We’re reinventing the tried-and-true “girls night out” and transplanting it to a Sunday afternoon. Building on last month’s Not Your Bubbe’s Sisterhood kick-off event, our dialogue of what it means to be a Jewish woman in contemporary society is moving to the big screen. Join us for a screening of Kissing Jessica Stein. The critically-acclaimed independent film tackles everything from sexuality and sexual orientation, to neuroses, to everyone’s favorite…Jewish mothers. Popcorn and other movie snacks will fuel our introspection. Facilitated discussion to follow.
