Oh My Heavens: Judaism and the Afterlife

Who gets a place in the world to come? How long is purgatory, and how painful will it be?

While many believe there’s no Jewish conception of heaven or hell, key Jewish texts do in fact paint a picture of the afterlife. Using teachings from the Talmud and from modern thinkers, Rabbi Avi Strausberg leads a discussion on heaven, hell, and everything in between to explore how Jewish conceptions of death can help us lead a better life.

No one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Religious Programming Associate, Annie.
