In solidarity with Capital Pride 2023, Rabbi Aaron leads an inclusive service celebrating the diversity of DC Jewish life. Musicians Aaron Shneyer, Sarah Fredrick, and Jeff Geld will be accompanied by DC’s Different Drummers, a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender music organization that fosters inclusivity through music.

Hear from speakers who will lift up the Capital Pride theme of Peace, Love, Revolution, including a sermon from Rabbi Gil Steinlauf, Executive Director of the Center for Jewish Life at Princeton Hillel.

The following day, march alongside members of GLOE and Bet Mishpachah in the Capital Pride Parade. Advance registration is required.

This event has been generously underwritten by The Revada Foundation of the Logan Family.

The meal provided will be kosher-style pescatarian. With any dietary restrictions, please contact Kira by Monday, June 5. A vegetarian hechshered kosher meal must be requested no later than 9:00 am Friday, June 9.

Sixth & I strives to be an accessible and welcoming resource for the community by offering affordable experiences, including Shabbat dinners. The subsidized price of $18 is intended for young professionals or those with financial need and does not reflect the true cost of the meal provided ($36). If you are able, please consider covering the full cost of your Shabbat meal.
