Rabbi vs. Jedi: Star Wars Through a Jewish Lens
- This event has passed.
Participants will receive a Zoom link to the virtual class in their confirmation email and again via email at 5:00 pm on Monday, May 4.
On this unofficial nerd holiday of May the 4th, Rabbi Aaron leads an exploration of the Jewish elements of the Star Wars films (episodes 4-9 only). We’ll compare famous quotes, major themes, and central ideas from the films to Jewish texts on similar topics to address the question: How Jewish is Star Wars? No knowledge of Judaism or Star Wars necessary.
