Listen to our Shabbat melodies in our music library.

We could all use a day off. Shabbat gifts us the opportunity each week to trade creating for a break from our pressured lives. The rich meaning you can find in Shabbat is made all the more meaningful within a community setting.

This come one, come all Shabbat offering has something for everyone, whether you’re looking to dive deep into the week’s teachings, get more acquainted with Saturday morning services, or introduce kids to Shabbat rituals in a way that feels accessible and relevant. The morning includes:

10:00 am – Service led by Rabbi Shira (open to all)
10:45 am – Breakout sessions:

  • Young families service led by Rabbi Josh Beraha of the Micah Storefront Project
  • Adult service and text study led by Sixth & I rabbis

11:30 am – Lunch from Call Your Mother Deli

Following services, participate in a kids clothing swap. Bring any clothing items your children have outgrown that other families could enjoy, and come prepared to leave with some new threads. All clothing items must be washed, free of stains and holes, be sorted, and clearly labeled by appropriate-age group. No toys, please. All leftover items will be donated to Bread for the City.

The lunch provided will be vegetarian using kosher ingredients (not kosher certified). With any dietary needs, please contact Kira at least 5 days in advance.

Sixth & I strives to be an accessible and welcoming resource for the community by offering affordable experiences. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If you require financial assistance for this program, please contact Kira.
