Swap a traditional Friday night for dinner at our communal table with Rabbi Shira and storyteller Waldon Adams, as he shares his experience of being homeless in DC and explains why he is committed to finding a permanent place for everyone to call home. The menu includes:
Starters:
Spicy house-made baba ganoush in fillo cups
Grilled rib eye steak with horseradish aioli in fillo cups
Dinner:
Burnt lemon hummus, Israeli pickles and olives
Grilled Za’atar pita
Kale, apple, sumac-onion, and walnut salad
Braised lamb with pomegranate molasses (vegetarian option available upon request)
Ottolenghi sweet potato galette
Chermoula eggplant with bulgar and tofutti Tzatziki
Dessert:
Maple-roasted pear crumble
