Keep Your Friends Close

From rom-coms to dating advice podcasts, sometimes it feels like romantic relationships dominate the culture conversation, while no one talks about how hard it is to make or maintain meaningful friendships as an adult. Since the start of the pandemic, loneliness and isolation are on the rise and an increasing number of people say they’ve lost touch with most of their friends.
Rabbi Aaron leads a text-based conversation on friendship that’s equal parts philosophical and practical, offering a Jewish perspective on the number of friends you really need, the best way to form them, and strategies for keeping them. You’ll come away thinking more intentionally about your friendships—both the ones you want to build and the ones you’d like to maintain—and maybe even leave with a new friend.
This event runs from 7:00-8:30 pm. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact Leila.
