POSTPONED: What it Takes: How to be a Jewish Adult
- This event has passed.
This class has been postponed due to illness. Information about the rescheduled date will be announced soon. With questions, please contact Eve.
Whether you have a handle on adulthood or are still figuring things out (and who isn’t?), it might feel like there’s no clear roadmap for incorporating Judaism into your life in your 20s, 30s, and beyond. Over wine and conversation, experience a crash course in developing a more personal relationship with Jewish practices and rituals including Shabbat and holidays, keeping kosher, prayer, giving tzedakah, and text study.
Open to those who are new to Judaism, are new to the area, or are searching for their unique Jewish identity, this workshop led by Rabbi Nora will help you meet other Sixth & I’ers and think about how you want to connect Jewish traditions and texts to your own values.
This class is an express version of our four-part Building a Jewish Home series.
No one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Programming Associate, Eve.
