CANCELED – What It Takes: Making the High Holidays Meaningful
- This event has passed.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this class has been canceled. All attendees have been contacted and refunded. With questions, contact [email protected].
Throughout the High Holidays, we hear a lot about God as a king or all-powerful ruler. If that judgy man-in-the-sky concept gives you the ick, with Rabbi Jenna, dive deep into texts that illustrate how metaphor, power, and gender shape our understanding of God and explore how the themes of the High Holidays can feel more resonant to you. We’ll wrestle with big questions, uncover surprising interpretations, and discover new ways these ancient ideas can speak to us today.
No one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Associate, Robyn.
