POSTPONED: What Would Bubbe Do?®
Pop-Up Advice Stand
- This event has passed.
Due to inclement weather, this pop-up will be postponed and rescheduled for a new date. You can find What Would Bubbe Do? later this week on Thursday, September 18 at 11:30 am at Franklin Park.
Bubbe (Yiddish for grandma) knows best when it comes to dispensing life advice with warmth, love, and a dose of chutzpah. If you’re facing a dilemma, have something weighing on your mind, or are just looking for a soft-as-a-matzah-ball shoulder to rest your keppe (head), our team of real-life bubbes can help.
Ahead of the High Holidays—a time when many are thinking about how they want to show up in the new year—Sixth & I’s bubbe brigade will be popping up around the city to offer timeless advice for problems big and small. Everyone is welcome to talk to a bubbe, whether you’re Jewish, Jew-ish, or simply a big fan of grandmothers.
We promise they won’t pinch your cheeks, but they’ll probably call you bubbeleh (sweetie or darling).
Schedule and Locations:
Tuesday, September 16 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm in Dupont Circle
Thursday, September 18 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm in Franklin Park (1332 I Street, NW)
