Black Jewish Unity Seder: Celebrating Connected Histories
DC’s African American and Jewish communities explore the holiday of Passover by connecting shared histories, values, and a commitment to a better city and world. Through the seder, led by Rabbi Shira Stutman of Sixth & I and Pastor William H. Lamar IV of Metropolitan AME Church, our communities will promote a culture of understanding and respect.
Welcoming the New Jewish Family
Sixth & I, The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and Honeymoon Israel present a talk about expanding our Jewish community through engagement of young couples, with specific focus on building inclusive opportunities for those in intermarried relationships, presented by Jewish educator and teacher Avraham Infeld.
