Jerusalem Shabbat

Rabbi Scott leads a service with counselors and participants from Kids4Peace International in which residents of Jerusalem share their narratives of everyday and not-so-everyday life in one of the world’s holiest and most controversial places.

We’re heading to the Carnegie Library for an outdoor screening of Back to the Future. Meet outside Sixth & I at 6:30 pm and we will walk over to Carnegie as a group. For those arriving later, look out for the Sixth & I sign. Movie snacks provided.

Chesed & Hummus: A Veg Collective

Acclaimed novelist Jonathan Safran Foer narrated the 2006 documentary short, If This Is Kosher, about animal welfare and the kosher industry. In anticipation of his upcoming book talk at Sixth & I, watch the film and discuss the important issues that it raises while enjoying light plant-based snacks.

Interfaith Couples Workshop
