Brooklyn Rider
- This event has passed.
The groundbreaking string quartet—comprised of four virtuoso chamber music entrepreneurs—returns with their no-holds-barred programming that opens our ears to new musical styles and creative pursuits with each performance.
Brooklyn Rider brings us the newest chapter of its expansive, ongoing cross-disciplinary project including Washington Performing Arts’ newly-commissioned work by Tyondai Braxton. Join us for Almanac, as Brooklyn Rider offers a glimpse of what Strings Magazine describes as “the future of chamber music.”
This performance is made possible through the generous support of the Amphion Foundation. Washington Performing Arts performances at Sixth & I are made possible by the Abramson Family Foundation and by an anonymous gift in appreciation of Douglas Wheeler’s continuing efforts on behalf of Washington Performing Arts.
