Vancouver-based, China-born artist Wanting set the stage for her sophomore album Say The Words with 2012’s Everything In The World. Her first offering debuted at #1 in China, eventually reaching triple-platinum status. Her single “Drenched” received a prominent placement in hit Chinese film Love in the Buff, solidifying her as a veritable sensation in Asia where she also developed a formidable online following.

Stepping out of her comfort zone, she spent four months in Los Angeles working with Aniello during early 2013. Wanting had penned a myriad of songs already since Everything In The World, and together they fine-tuned them and broke new ground sonically. Embracing everything from jazz to hip-hop, she elevated her passionate and powerful pop sound to new heights.
