David Wax Museum fuses exuberant Mexican roots music with homegrown country, folk, and rock to create a unique Mexo-Americana sound. With Latin rhythms, call-and-response hollering, accordion pumping, and donkey jawbone rattling, they have won over audiences across the country.
The Boston Globe dubbed David Wax Museum as “one of Boston’s hottest new bands.” NPR’s All Songs Considered featured their performance as one of the highlights of this year’s Newport Folk Festival. They’ll bring this energetic sound to their album release show on our Downstairs stage.
