Buzz Aldrin
In Conversation with Christina Korp
- This event has passed.
Half a century after walking on the moon, icon and astronaut Buzz Aldrin reflects on a lifetime of achievements and what he’s learned through it all in No Dream Is Too High: Life Lessons from a Man Who Walked on the Moon, co-authored with Ken Abraham. Aldrin speaks intimately about his experiences in space, in war, and as a beloved public figure.
No Dream Is Too High distills Aldrin’s celebrated life into 13 principles that have shaped and guided him, including:
- Second comes right after first. (He muses about how it has felt to be known as the second man on the moon).
- Failure is always an option.
- Trust your gut…and your instruments.
- Help others go beyond where you have gone.
Aldrin, best known for his Apollo 11 moonwalk, holds a doctoral degree in astronautics and, at age 86, continues to wield influence as an international advocate of space science and planetary exploration.
In conversation with Christina Korp, Aldrin’s Mission Control Director. Book signing to follow.
