Born Survivors: A Holocaust Remembrance Day Celebration
- This event has passed.
Against all odds, three mothers and their newborn babies survive the Holocaust. Seventy years later, British author Wendy Holden captured the mothers’ stories in her international bestseller Born Survivors: Three Young Mothers and Their Extraordinary Story of Courage, Defiance, and Hope.
Holden and all three of the children – Hana Berger Moran, Dr. Mark Olsky, and Eva Clarke – will be here to share first-hand how their mothers defied the Nazis, including Dr. Josef Mengele, in order to give them life. Full of courage, hope and survival, this is an extraordinary story about three children united by their mothers unbelievable fight for survival.
