The 2011 Brit and NME award winner (for Best British Female and Best Solo Artist, respectively) and former Mercury Prize nominee has often been described as “an old soul, wise beyond her years” at only 21 years old. Marling began her professional career at 16 with a stint in the band Noah and the Whale, but soon after turned solo.

With help from friends such as singer-songwriter Johnny Flynn and Mumford and Sons, Marling quickly became a key figure on Britain’s burgeoning young folk scene. Now with global acclaim and set to release her third album, A Creature I Don’t Know, the English folk phenom plays an intimate show in the sanctuary.
