Michael Smerconish is the host of The Michael Smerconish Program, a daily radio show broadcast nationwide on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel. He is also the host of CNN’s “Smerconish” which airs Saturdays mornings. In this 90-minute talk, entitled Divided We Stand, Smerconish shares his perspective on how we got to where we are and what it will take for the U.S. to move ahead united.

Smerconish authors a Sunday column in the Philadelphia Inquirer and is the author of six books; the television rights for his most recent novel, Talk, were optioned by Warner Brothers. Smerconish became a radio and television commentator after experiences he had in Republican politics. At age 29, he was appointed by President George H.W. Bush to a sub-cabinet level position. He has interviewed Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, as well as Vice Presidents Al Gore, Dick Cheney and Joe Biden.
