Formed in 2009 when Amelia Meath (also of electronic pop duo Sylvan Esso), Molly Erin Sarlé, and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig met by chance on a college campus, Mountain Man quickly found critical acclaim with their debut album, Made the Harbor, recorded on rickety equipment in an abandoned factory.
