Singer-songwriter Pegi Young’s third release, Bracing For Impact, spotlights Pegi’s beautifully spare and resonant vocals, world-weary and eloquent lyricism, and a hushed yet immediate emotional landscape. Her newest album Pegi and her acclaimed recording and touring band, The Survivors, comprised of keyboardist Spooner Oldham, bassist Rick Rosas, guitarist Kevin Holly and drummer Phil Jones. Legendary singer-songwriter (and husband to Pegi) Neil Young, contributes background vocals, guitar and harmonica to a number of tracks on her album, as well as penning the lyrics to “Doghouse.”
