GRAMMY Award-winning stand-up comedian Lewis Black is one of the most prolific and popular performers working today. He brilliantly executes a trifecta as stand-up comedian, actor, and author and often contributes his memorable shtick to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Receiving critical acclaim, he performs over 200 nights a year to sold-out audiences, including sell outs at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Main Stage at the Mirage in Las Vegas and, most recently, a sold-out run at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway.

Black was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Silver Spring, MD. Colicky as a baby, it seems he was destined to be angry and irritated easily. His live performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience. He is a passionate performer who is a more pissed-off optimist than mean-spirited curmudgeon.
