Darlingside

- This event has passed.
With music that takes its cues from 60s folk, chamber pop, bluegrass, classical music, and modern indie rock, Darlingside defies easy categorization. Described by Rolling Stone as a “must-see act,” the Massachusetts-based quartet has a sound that is serious, cinematic, and deeply moving, thanks to the skillful vocal interplay of the four singers.
The band—comprised of bassist Dave Senft, guitarist and banjo player Don Mitchell, classical violinist and folk mandolinist Auyon Mukharji, and cellist and guitar picker Harris Paseltiner—made waves with its 2015 album, Birds Say. Following the release of the equally acclaimed EP Whippoorwill, Darlingside is back with their full-length record Extralife, an experimental ode to the apocalypse.
