Shabbat: Exhale
With Alison Cohen and Rabbi Nora
- This event has passed.
At this in-person event, proof of vaccination and masks are required. Please review our health and safety protocols here. Advance registration is required and walk-ups are not permitted.
Shabbat can be the spiritual antidote to the stress of the past week, offering a space to pause and unplug. It is also a sacred opportunity to renew your connection with yourself, with others, and with whatever matters most to you.
At this one-hour alternative Shabbat service, unwind and reconnect through guided meditation, reflection on Jewish teachings, and communal singing. Mindfulness teacher Alison Cohen and Rabbi Nora will be your guides, whether you participate from our pews or virtually from home. Come as you are: no prior meditation experience, knowledge of Hebrew, or familiarity with Shabbat traditions necessary.
At all in-person events during Chanukah (November 29 through December 6), we’re collecting non-perishable, shelf stable food items to donate to the Capital Area Food Bank. Check out their most-wanted items.
