Best known as the singer for grunge group The Screaming Trees, Mark Lanegan has since emerged as a prolific solo artist and has also performed with Queens of the Stone Age. On his most recent record, Imitations, Mark explores his longtime and perhaps lesser known interest in classic singers and songwriters, a genre he first explored on his 1990 solo debut, The Winding Street. His newest release features covers of classic songs, including ones by Frank Sinatra and Nick Cave.
