Eugene Mirman is a comedian and hero who lives in Brooklyn, NY. He voices “Gene” on Fox’s hit animated series Bob’s Burgers and is a regular on Flight of the Conchords, Adult Swim’s Delocated, and has two Comedy Central specials. Eugene was named “Best New York City Comedian” by the Village Voice, one of “50 Funniest” by Time Out New York, and one of the “10 best comedians of the last decade” by Paste Magazine. He’s released three comedy albums and an incredibly funny parody-ish self-help book, The Will to Whatevs. Named by Rolling Stone as “Hot Twitterer,” Eugene keeps his nearly 300,000 followers entertained daily. He is a frequent comedic co-host of Neil deGrasse Tyson’s science radio show and podcast, Star Talk Radio.
Kurt Braunohler was recently named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” as well as Time Out New York’s “50 Funniest New Yorkers”. He was even named another “Comic to Watch” by Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival. Kurt has been seen (or heard) on TV on Bob’s Burgers, Chelsea Lately, Delocated (Adult Swim), John Oliver’s NY Stand Up Show, The Heart She Holler (Adult Swim), Comedy Central Presents, Jon Benjamin Has a Van (Comedy Central), Assy McGee (Adult Swim), Human Giant (MTV) and the anti-game show he hosts, BUNK! on IFC. He can also be heard on the radio on This American Life.
Derrick Brown is one of America’s most beloved and well-traveled performing page poets. He is a former paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne, the author of four books of poetry, and is the president of Write Bloody Publishing, which Forbes and Filter Magazine called “one of the best independent presses in the country.” The New York Times calls his work “a rekindling of faith in the weird, hilarious, shocking, beautiful power of words.”
