I believe there are many authentic ways to express one’s Jewish identity, and my work at Sixth & I focuses on helping you develop a personally meaningful relationship with Judaism. I’ve been on a religious journey and want to support you in yours. My hope is to push people to be their best selves, think in new ways, and connect deeply to each other. I try to make this happen by having one-on-one conversations, facilitating small-group discussions, and teaching rooms full of people. I especially love working with people who are less traditional, skeptical of religion, and searching for wisdom.

Before coming to Sixth & I, I was the campus rabbi for Northwestern University’s Hillel and the community rabbi for GatherDC. In my free time, I love tennis, hiking, improv, storytelling, gummy worms, stand-up, and music. I’m a proud Minnesotan but I don’t ice-fish or play hockey.

If you are an individual or a couple in your 20s and 30s in the DC area and are looking to connect, sign up to meet with me during office hours.
