The Beauty of Sephardic High Holidays
- This event has passed.
From Morocco to Algiers and Baghdad to Egypt and beyond, half of the Jewish world is Sephardic. Sephardic Judaism is known for its love of the Hebrew language, soaring poetry and prayer, philosophical clarity, and haunting music.
Rabbi Haim Ovadia, of Magen David Sephardic Congregation, brings the majesty and power of the Sephardic High Holiday experiences into a learning setting. Joined by his son, Israel, on the oud, go past bagels, lox, and Yiddish into the millennia-old traditions and teachings of Sefardic Judaism.
