A.B. Yehoshua
- This event has passed.
Best known as a novelist and playwright, A.B. Yehoshua is among the most widely recognized and celebrated Israeli authors. Described by The New York Times as “a kind of Israeli Faulkner,” Yehoshua is the author of numerous novels, including The Lover, Late Divorce, Mr. Mani, and The Liberated Bride. Yehoshua will read from his most recent novel, Friendly Fire, and then discuss his life as a writer and thoughts on Israel with Leon Wieseltier, literary editor of The New Republic magazine. A book signing will follow the program.
This program is made possible by the kind generosity of the David Bruce Smith Foundation. Co-sponsored with the Embassy of Israel and The New Republic.
