Curious about the voices of badass women in Jewish tradition? Do you know about Judith, who saves her people by beheading an invading general? How about Huldah, the prophet who served up a serious clap back to King Josiah? Or maybe you think you know the story of Miriam who raised her voice in song…but do you know that she also raised it in protest? With Rabbi Nora, take a deep dive into the stories of influential, courageous, and radical women whose voices we don’t always get to hear in Jewish spaces. Explore biblical and rabbinic texts featuring women exercising agency, raising their voices, and stepping into their power to inspire you at the start of 5782.

No one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Programming Associate, Dan.
