How To Be A Jewish Feminist
- This event has passed.
This is a two-session class that meets on Tuesdays, March 7 and March 14 at 7:00 pm.
In connection with Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche’s upcoming talk, Rabbi Suzy offers a two-week class on how to be both a feminist and a proud Jew. Explore texts that depict women in problematic ways alongside concepts that empowered our matriarchs in revolutionary ways. Discuss how the modern women’s movement has radically changed—and continues to change—the American Jewish community.
