Brooklyn Rider “provides two hours of unalloyed listening joy,” trumpeted the Washington Post of the quartet’s March 2015 concert. The four virtuoso chamber musicians count great musicians of many genres as friends and collaborators—they’ve been joined here in recent years by banjo legend Béla Fleck and kamancheh star Kayhan Kalhor. They return this season with fellow Brooklynite and composer/pianist/singer/songwriter Gabriel Kahane, whose music—a blend of classical and indie-folk— has been described as “all-around dazzling….
