The genre-defying ensemble celebrates works that push the boundaries of the string quartet in a program bridging past and present, including Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 1 and selections from the Brooklyn Rider Almanac by Christina Courtin, Dana Lyn, Vijay Iyer, John Zorn, and the ensemble’s own Colin Jacobsen.
