Dan Croll
- This event has passed.
After studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Dan Croll fully immersed himself in a whole variety of different musical genres, picking off influences from far and wide—the world music of Paul Simon, experimental orchestral work with African choirs, 1960s psychedelia, the early sounds of Mars Volta, Beruit, Bon Iver and then more modern sounds such as Metronomy and Dirty Projectors. The result was an uncharacteristic sound that’s a balance between acoustic and digital. As Croll explains, it’s “a genre that hasn’t got a name.”The Liverpool, UK native and emerging indie-rock star recently released his debut album, From Nowhere.
This event will take place in our Downstairs venue. Limited seating is available. For those that require seating, please call in advance.
