FiveThirtyEight Elections Podcast
- This event has passed.
The FiveThirtyEight team covers the 2016 presidential election, tracking the latest issues and “game-changers” every week. Through special reports, quick reaction, and honest, credible data, the FiveThirtyEight team of Nate Silver, Jody Avirgan, Harry Enten, and Clare Malone report on the latest election news.
FiveThirtyEight first gained national attention during the 2008 presidential election, when it correctly predicted the results of the election in 49 of 50 states, along with all 35 U.S. Senate races. In 2012, FiveThirtyEight predicted the election outcome in all 50 states.
Silver is a New York Times best-selling author and a game-changing statistician. While he thrives with election forecasting, he has also changed the way we look at sports with his development of PECOTA and the Soccer Power Index.
Avirgan, the podcast’s host, has produced and reported in the world of public radio for shows such as On The Media, Freakonomics, and Marketplace. He is also the host of the FiveThirtyEight podcast, What’s The Point.
