Hamantashen: Baked & Revealed

In preparation for Purim, join resident foodie Hannah Orenstein to learn how to make gourmet hamantaschen. We’ll experiment with non-traditional fillings, flavorings, and fondue-ings and prepare baskets of food to donate to local shelters.

On Purim, it is tradition to deliver mishloach manot to friends, family, and those in need to ensure that everyone has enough food for the Purim feast.

While the hamantaschen bake, we’ll have something else to chew on: revealing the hidden symbols of the triangular pastry and discussing the feminist undertones of the holiday.

For women in their 20s and 30s. And for the record, we love all bubbes everywhere.
