In a live virtual recording of the HBR IdeaCast, Harvard Business Review’s flagship podcast featuring leading thinkers in business and management, co-host Alison Beard will discuss best practices in allyship with Tsedale Melaku and David G. Smith. Melaku and Smith are co-authors of the HBR article “Be a Better Ally,” which offers concrete advice on how white men can acknowledge and use their privilege to help women and people of color advance, thereby creating more inclusive organizations.

Melaku is also the author of You Don’t Look Like a Lawyer: Black Women and Systemic Gendered Racism. Smith is the co-author of the new book Good Guys: How Men Can Be Better Allies for Women in the Workplace.
