An Emmy-award winning journalist, syndicated columnist, and the author of several bestselling books, Jorge Ramos is best known for his role as Univision’s lead news anchor since 1986. In Take a Stand: Lessons From Rebels, he looks back on the groundbreaking interviews he has conducted with an unapologetic, no-holds-barred approach during his 30 years as a journalist. Recounting interviews with President Barack Obama, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Spike Lee, Barbara Walters, Fidel Castro and more, he shares never-before-told stories and offers a unique perspective on key issues affecting the world today.

Ramos shines a light on the concerns that influence Hispanics, the largest minority in the country. These concerns will undoubtedly shape not only the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, but also the overall future of America. Ramos recently made headlines when he was forcibly removed from Donald Trump’s press conference in Iowa after confronting the presidential candidate about his stance on immigration.

In addition to Univision’s nightly newscast, Ramos hosts the network’s weekly public affairs program, “Al Punto.” He is also an anchor for Fusion, a partnership between ABC and Univision. Time has included Ramos in the magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” list, and called him one of “the 25 most influential Hispanics in America.” Book signing to follow.
