Lilith Salon: When Food and Love Collide
- This event has passed.
Lilith magazine: independent, Jewish and frankly feminist. The pages of this publication – rich in the substance of what Jewish women today feel, experience, and challenge – will come to life in an interactive salon-style evening. Join us for good company and lively conversation focused on the intersection of food and love, palate and heart, passion and reason. Clashing food values are becoming more and more common, as vegetarianism, veganism, and locavorism become more popular. What is meaningful about whom we choose (and don’t choose) to break bread with, and what happens when kosher laws take a seat at the table?
The salon will be facilitated by Susan Weidman Schneider, Lilith Editor in Chief.
For women in their 20s and 30s. And for the record, we love all bubbes everywhere.
