Before beginning her solo career, Lisa Hannigan made a name for herself touring with fellow Irishman Damien Rice. Following her departure from that band, Hannigan began writing and recording solo material. Her two full-length albums, Sea Sew and Passenger, have both received widespread popularity and critical acclaim.

Joe Henry is a prolific songwriter, singer, and Grammy-winning producer. He has released more than ten albums, covering a wide range of genres. The LA Times called Henry “a literate, thoughtful writer who crafts stories about lonesome losers and people scarred by the past and scared about the future.” He has lent his production efforts to the likes of Ani DiFranco and Elvis Costello, and worked on the soundtracks to the films Knocked Up and I’m Not There.
